Lady Penelope’s day care disaster

Kevin and Karla looked at each other with broad grins on their faces.
They knew just what to do. They longed for the companionship of tiny
little people. It did not matter to them if they were the children of
different folk, just as long as they could have the young ones around

As Martha looked about for some grubs she spied a group of birds that looked like she did. Oh, they were smaller she would give them that, but oh look at their feathers, black and white just like hers. She hurried over and called out to them. “Hello. Are you my family, my kith and kin? I have been looking all over. Where have you been?”

With that Eddie set off. He walked through the morning and right through midday. He walked through the afternoon and into the night. AAHH! My Game Console is Broken!

Outside Peter stood dejectedly with the hose. He was watering the garden at the side of the house where his mother had planted some flowers that had bright red, orange and yellow colours. Sadly, he looked around and saw that his father had left the ladder out. It was leaning against the side of the house. Peter’s gaze followed the ladder up and at the top he saw the neighbour’s cat sitting on the roof with its tail swishing back and forth.

The bashful emu

Perry, not wanting to intrude on the emu’s quiet time padded quietly up the street and very cautiously cleared his throat.  The emu heard the noise Perry made and jumped high in the air as if he had been bitten by a snake.  This scared Perry so much that he wanted to run off and not come back.
