Mysteries of Seven – Part 2

April 7, 2012

One thing that captures human thought and imagination is the number 7. It is linked to many different explanations and many different uses, yet it still fascinates us. The journey to trace the power of the number 7 covers a vast amount of territory and includes religious material, occult type material, explorations of 19th and 20th century adventurers in central Asia and the collection of myth legend, prophecy and tales concerning cultural heroes.

The Seven Principles of the Way of the Warrior

October 31, 2010

I have written a few articles here at Timberwolf HQ on the number 7, its mysteries and the effect it seems to have on the human psyche. It seemed appropriate that I follow those up with the Seven Principles of the Way of the Warrior.  I do not mean a physical warrior, although this may also be true. I mean the Spiritual Warrior and Seeker of the Way.

Central Asian Myth and 2012

February 26, 2010
Shambhala

Shambhala, Agharti (Agharta) and 2012, central Asian myths. What do they have in common? While doing some research for an article relating to the mysteries of the number 7, I came across references in to Shambhala, Agharti (Agharta) and 2012. I thought it was quite bizarre to find that there was a legend surrounding Shambhala and Agharti which brought the date of 2012 into the picture as far as coming world changes are concerned. I was reading a book called “The Ancient Wisdom”. Imagine, a central Asian myth that could tie in with other legends surrounding 2012.

This is another of those quick posts that get you thinking. I talk about spirit animals and spirit guides from time to time among other items of interest here at Timberwolf HQ. Why shouldn’t I?  As Spiritual Warrior and Seeker of the Way, I bring things to your attention as they affect me in my development. One thing that I take cognisence of and learn from is the behaviour of animals. They are great teachers and we can learn a lot from them.

Changes to the way Timberwolf HQ presents Information

Guardians-SteelCross-Dragon

Last year I indicated that the would be a number of Forthcoming Changes here at Timberwolf HQ. Some of those changes have occurred and some have been slow in presenting themselves. This is due to the nature of blogging, the aggregation of information on a particular topic and the time necessary to experiment with page and post formats. Experienced bloggers will know exactly what I mean about the learning curve required to undertake this type of consolidation effort.

More on the 2012 Enigma and its Phenomenon from an Enlightened Angle

2012 Directory

I have said a number of times how things seem to be interconnected. You research an article and then that spins off to something else which doesn’t quite fit your niche on one site yet dovetails nicely with the article thread on another. In this case you write the article for the other site and put a short, sweet post on your main site as a directing beacon to light the way. As a Spiritual Warrior and Seeker of the Way, I am always intrigued by the way in which the universe continually draws me in a certain direction.

What have Ancient Aliens, The Mayan Calendar and 2012 got in Common?

2012

This post is designed to make you think about the title question. Have you thought about it? Do you have any answers? It is one of those grey areas that exist outside of the spiritual paradigm followed by the Spiritual Warrior and the Seeker of the Way, a new paradigm that is developing around the world.

7 seems to permeate many of our ancient myths, legends and religious texts. It is mentioned in the Old Testament, the Qu’ran, has connections to Babylon, Greece and many other centres of civilization in the ancient world. It even makes its way to India where it appears in the Rig Veda texts.
