We all have spirit guides. Some of us have met them and some of us haven’t. As this is Timberwolf HQ, this article is on the wolf as a spirit guide. The basic information was given to me by a long-time reader and friend of Timberwolf HQ. I wrote the article from his research. So sit back, relax and enjoy the information you are about to read.
We have all wondered what the qualities are of our spirit guides. There are many sites on the Internet which will give various information and interpretations. My reader has provided the following information about Brother wolf.
WOLF: Teacher, Pathfinder, Moon – hound within my soul.
Wolves teach us many things including howling, singing and how to know and understand ourselves and others.
What is the wolf spirit?
It is believed that our brother, the wolf, is a path finder, a bringer of new ideas returning to the people to deliver teachings and to allow us to learn and participate in knowing our heritage and spiritual path, sharing good medicine. The wolf teaches us how to live with one mate throughout life. This is an important lesson as humans are herd animals with an alpha leader and a harem mentality. If we follow brother wolf we can learn loyalty. The wolf pack provides an enormous sense of belonging and family, even within the pack, while retaining its individuality.
If you feel that you have an affinity for the wolf spirit, then you may be a person with a gift to teach. You may pass on your own spirit medicine with those willing to hear your message and learn. When you tune in to your intuitive nature on the wolf path you will divine a number of things, including an answer you may be seeking or a lesson you must learn at this time. When you discover your inner wolf spirit your drive to impart knowledge will increase and you may find yourself writing or lecturing about topics and providing information that will help others understand their own unique life path. In your spiritual development you must look for teachings from your wolf spirit guide. He is your brother and would not come to you without you making a request to the path-finder for his appearance in your life.
Who is the wolf spirit?
The wolf in nature has very keen senses and has a very powerful ally in the moon. The moon itself is a symbol for the psychic ability latent in all people. It has been used by secret societies for untold years to convey a message of secret knowledge and wisdom, the wolf spirit is partnered by this power when he comes to you. By howling at the Moon the wolf spirit asks you to seek that connection with new ideas which lie just below the surface of your waking mind, to look into your unconscious mind to release powerful energies. By doing this and by discovering your own wolf spirit within, you are encouraged to become a teacher, a tutor of all people to aid them in understanding the mysteries that life brings us.
Another link to the heavens and life mysteries comes from the Dogon tribe in Africa who link great powers and secrets to the Dog Star, Sirius. The ancient Egyptians also made this connection and believed Sirius to be the home of the gods. Star lore connects the wolf with the Dog Star and it is believed by some that mankind’s teachers were from this star. Other indigenous people, including Native Americans, later adopted this motif and identified the wolf as the teacher of the clans.
What can the wolf spirit provide?
The wolf spirit comes to teach and to endow the gift of wisdom on those who will take the time to listen to his teachings. It is said that when you have travelled every path and located those that lead nowhere, you will truly know your territory. In discovering this, a simple truth is revealed, that nothing stays the same, all things change as nature intended.
The spirit wolf may tell you to seek places to be alone. In these places, in the absence of other people, brother wolf may reveal himself and allow you to see your inner spirit guide and teacher. This in turn delivers a vision of the true being you are and will become.
If wolf spirit is not facing you when he approaches, you are being asked to look beyond your the confines of your present situation to see the wider world beyond. This may take courage, as new ideas could be foreign to you and you may need to divest yourself of older, confining viewpoints. Once the wolf spirit has imparted his teachings, then it is up to you to share these with the rest of humanity and seek to raise human consciousness to new heights. Do not let wolf spirit’s teaching stagnate and do not fear passing on your changed vision to others as this will result in you becoming bogged down and will stifle the changes he has brought to your life.
Your wolf spirit will always urge you to seek teachers or path finders that will show provide you with ways to achieve new life experiences. Always remember, the teachers and way-finders could be the tiny voice which comes to you from within or you could find a lesson in the form of a stone, a book, a cloud, a tree, another person or the Great Spirit that binds us all as one.
A final thought
Growth comes through acceptance of all forms of life and the acknowledgement of the lessons they can teach. Become the wolf spirit and follow the sense of discovery you feel. You may find that you stop crying at the moon in despair and become the embodiment of psychic energies symbolised by the moon. When you do…remember to pass this teaching on by becoming someone else’s wolf spirit guide.

After many tries, I’ve finally done it! It hasn’t been ten minutes yet- I’m just so amazed and feeling… AMAZING!!! Okay- confirmed. He’s male, grey fur with shimmering blue eyes. And a wolf. I asked his for his name, but he just smiled (I don’t know how) and the image of an ocean popped into my mind. Maybe his name is Ocean or something? I wasn’t sure why he doesn’t want to tell me, but I thanked him and came back.

I just want to say thank you. You’ve really helped me out so much. At first, when I read this I really wanted to try and make contact with my spirit guide, and after reading comments I clicked on one of your links you commented and I tried it. Well, after awhile I got bored, so I started comming up with my own. But don’t stop reading this, because I’m not saying it doesn’t work, because it does work. It just worked very differently for me.
At first I began to imagine a snowy blanket, then I went into a cave like the article said and I thought about going to a beautiful meadow where I tried to relax. I began thinking how tired I was and as soon as I told myself, “My eyes began to get heavy…” it hit me.
I was falling, falling fast. I couldn’t see anything, nothing, just blackness. Then, I felt as if I was running, like galloping as a horse and as I finally came to a halt I felt like there were feathers under me, I was happy. Then my nose tickled so I woke up from my trance.
I got angry, angry that it didn’t show itself. So I screamed in my mind, “Where are you? I needed help and you’re nowhere!” then a soft, but extremely firm voice said, “I’m here.” but the more I screamed “Show yourself!” the angrier I got. Then I started to think of what feelings I had, and I went back to when I was going to my soccer games and I saw birds, many birds, flying over me. And my mother, she always said that everytime I was happy, there would always be birds everywhere.
At that soccer game, we were losing badly. When I looked up into the sky, the clouds seemed to be in a form of a Eagle. Even though we lost that soccer game, quite badly, I still didn’t care. So this begged me to question if my spirit animal was a Eagle. Then I got a new memory.
One more recent, one where I was going home when I looked up into the sky to see many Hawks flying above. Hawks have always fascinated me and I always enjoyed looking at them from bellow and see what colors they were when I saw a huge bird. This wasn’t just any bird, it was huge, like an Eagle’s size. But with us living in Illinois, I thought that Eagle’s weren’t native to my state. It was huge though, dark brown overall with light brown feathers under it. So maybe it was a Eagle that I saw.
Now, a memory of just a few days ago of me in the car with my father and our two cats moving down to Georgia came into my mind. I had always believed that I could talk to Hawks and so everytime I would see a group of Hawks it would always bring a smile to my face. Eager to please my cat who was meowing in the back I looked up and tried speaking to my Hawks, “My Hawk brothers and sisters, would you please send word to Trixie’s (My Cat) friends that she wont return?” Soon after, I became worried that I was being a lunatic for thinking that I could speak to them so I send another mind-message up into the sky.
“Hawk brothers and sisters, did you send the message? Are you on your way? If you are please show 1 to 4 Hawks in the sky in the next few miles to say that you have, if you haven’t, don’t send any or just send more than 3.” So I waited, and sure enough in the next two miles there was a single Hawk soaring in the sky. Then it dawned on me, maybe a Hawk was my spirit guide? Maybe that was it in the sky that day?
I began thinking of names that it might be, and the name Farrow came into my mind. Was it spelt like Pharaoh like in Egypt? I wondered, but I just kept thinking it was spelt with a F, so I did my research just like it said in the article.
Turns out, a Hawk is my spirit animal. This one thing I found online discribes me completely along with another scary fact: The Egyptians worshipped Hawks, and often released live Hawks to symbolize that the Pharaoh has been sent on to the after life.

It even explained my anger, and why my Farrow seemed to speak to me in a soft, yet harsh tone.
So thank you once again, after reading this article I wanted to find my spirit guide, and I sure did. Though in the beginning I was sad it wasn’t a wolf, but I just learnt to see the bigger picture, made from the smaller things. Thank you Timberwolf, and thank you Farrow.

One thing that I do want to make clear, one that you have discovered Abby, is that everyone has an animal spirit guide. However, it is not always going to be a wolf, as in your case it is a Hawk. I will, I’ll try hard to speak and get a good relationship with her. Yes I do realize that mine wasn’t a wolf but now I’m happy about that. I can’t explain this feeling of just knowing her, that I actually found it. In the beginning I was kind of sceptical, but not anymore, this has opened up a whole new world for me to explore and to fly in. And it’s all because of you, and I don’t think I could ever thank you enough.

Thank you with advice for helping me find my spirit animal. I’m on the path of dicovering my spirit animal. I didn’t get a name nor see anything, but I heard a voice. Here is what happened:
Just like the article said, I imangined that I found a cave. I went and it slowly got darker and darker. Finally a speck of light appeared and the cave opened up into a lake with a waterfall.
I felt tired from walking through the cave so put my legs into the lake. I could feel the soothing coolness of the water relaxing me.
I called, “Is anyone here?” I heard a splash at the other side of the lake and ripples were forming on the water. I was starting to get spooked and called out again, “Anyone?”
I heard a voice that seemed to come from the water itself. The voice was cheerful and soothing, “Don’t worry, I’m here.”
And that was when my dad burst into my room.
I think he/she was some kind of water animal, wich is weird becasue I love the water.
Wow, It was an amazing experience. I found my animal was a wolf. I have always loved wolfs and found them interesting. It greeted me in my dreams. I saw a male wolf approach me. On a wall in blood I saw the word Fillin, coming from the word Faolan meaning ‘Little Wolf.’ The wolf in my dreams did seem small and fragile, mainly for a male. Also the name Faolan has always been close to me, thats why I was shocked when I researched the name. Now at night when I look to my wolf print dream catcher I forget the worries of my day and know Fillin is there for me. Thank you for showing me the way to Fillin, it was the best experince I have ever had!

I just contacted my spirit animal again just a while ago. I went to the same place with the waterfall and lake. I called out, “Please, somebody come!” Then from behind the waterfall a shape appeared. It looked like some sort of bird. When she fully came out, I caught my breath. A beautiful swan was gliding towards me, her white feathers looked like they were glowing.
She spoke, “So we finally meet face to face after so many years.” Her voice was gentle and soothing, like silk.
I have pictures of swans in my house so it explains a lot. Also, where I live swans can be seen swimming in the lake.
I was shaking with excitment and she said, “Calm down, when water becomes agitated it becomes difficult to see.”
I took a deep breath and said, “I never knew your name.”
The swan said, “I am the enchanting song of olden times. The song of beauty and danger. I will tell you more about me as the days go on.”
Then everything went black and I was back in my room. I thought about what she said about her name then I realised, Siren. The Sirens where beautiful half-bird half-women who sang songs that enticed sailors to their deaths. Siren was her name! I then thought my zodiac, Libra. Libra’s planet is Venus which was the Roman version of Aphordite whose symbol was the swan!
I am so happy that I met Siren!

This is so cool.
I found mine almost immediately. I read the article and then went upstairs and relaxed.
What happened was I went through the storyline mentally, etc, etc, until I came to the part about the animal spirit, my mind was wandering from animal to animal rapidly, like a picture slideshow on superspeed. Then it stopped on this giant brown eye and zoomed out. It was a young male deer- the horns just starting to budge from his head- named Baron. He had cream markings around his eyes and no spots whatsoever.
What I found ironic was, #1, that when I was younger I loved deer. I loved to watch them wandering outside my window and the stags were the best. The rare glimpses I cought of them, I couldn’t stop thinking about them.
#2 was the cream markings around my eyes. My cat, who I can consider one of my best friends, has the exact same markings. I always thought they helped to show her emotions and this deer had those markings.
#3 was his name- Baron- which means “YOUNG warrior”. What’s also funny is that when I looked up the deer spirit animal, I read that the male deer had something to do with pride and rebellion, as well as defending nature. A young warrior who defends nature with pride and rebellion. And I never knew any of this.
This is just an amazing article. Even now I can feel Baron whispering in my head even though I can’t understand it. Thank you so much. :3

I may or may not have found my spirit, i pictured myself in a cave and all that dooda. I find that im calmest when i reading so it of corse happened when i was reading the artical thing Abby showed everyone on this one site. I pictured everything so vividly it was like a dream. I felt as if i was really there but i was switching from watching myself act to feeling every movemt i made. Ive always been fasinated with forests and wolves at that. Ive always wanted to be free like a wolf and thats what i think of when you say forest and im really thinking. Anyway. I was looking around the forest and stopped when i noticed movement. Its weird cuz ive always done that when im alone wheather it be on the street or in the forest, im a little to focused and things just pop into my head of what it could be and what i’ll do if it is. My eyes drifted to a part of the forest that was dark yet open. For that area a pretty good sized wolf can out in a proud, in charge way. His fur was long, which was black going from the tip of his nose to his tail, as it moved down his body to his feet it turned into a lighter brown. I tend to get really gidy and feel as if someones watching me when i think about his eyes. The were a beautiful Amberish brown that added to his alpha look. When i said it felt as if someone was watching me when i thought of his eyes it was that but it was also i could feel him in my body, i dont really know how to exsplain it but i get a surge of energy that makes me want to run wild and free threw a fall colored forest. feeling the wind in my face and hearing the crackle of leaves and twigs break under my feet. I dont really care that i didnt get a name this time. Im just happy that i got to meet him. Im still a little fuzzy to if that was all real because well i have a hyperactive imagination and its 2:39 in the morning. What’s really freaking me out about all this is that ive seen him in a picture i chose to serve as my signiture for this one site. I wasnt really thinking about that picture when i saw him. I guess ive always felt i could talk to wolves and hang out in forests with them. Sometimes i find myself waiting for them to come for me. I may have found his name just now. Follow, only spelt as Fallow. As in follow your dreams and wishes and follow the strive to finish something. Im glad i got to meet him tonight, i know he’ll be by my side as long as i believe i can do anything i follow up on.
Fallow was the word that kept repeating in my head as i thought of him and described him. I knew it was spelt as Follow with an A because i felt it in the pit of my chest.

Thanks a ton Timberwolf! Because of you I was able to fully enter conversation with Tsala and Tahasaru and learn their names!
I have known them both for a while, but I guess I have never allowed them to fully show themselves to me, but now I have and I feel so at peace! ^^
Well, I might as well tell you that it’s time to welcome Tsala and Tahasaru. ^^ Last night I allowed myself to do this so that I could find their names and speak with them, and I found an amazing surprise as well, ^^
For nearly five years now I have had continuous dreams about panthers and cheetahs, even before then there were dreams of them, and that was when I knew that I had two spirit animals walking beside me. However, up until last night I had thought them both to be female, and I had never known there names. Tsala is a lithe female black panther, she has a sleek black pelt and her eyes are a shadowed blue-gray. Tahasaru is actually her brother, she told me so, and he is a cheetah, taller than the norm and more muscled as well. His eyes are a greenish-brown, and I am gathering that my feelings are what change my eye colors now, not the seasons as some days Tsala is stronger in me, and others Tahasaru is, and my eye colors relate to that.
A little bit about the panther totem; the panther is the sign of femininity and lunar energy. It is a sign of high spirituality and the powers of shape-shifting and earth magic. One who carries the spirit of a panther is normally born knowledgeable, knowing more than they should for their age. The spirit itself will help the carrier overcome their fear of the darkness and learn to embrace their affinity to the moon and to the night. They are normally more of a loner than other creatures, tending to befriend others who also view themselves as loners. They are protective and defensive of those they love, and they are calm.
~My connections; I used to be terrified of the night until I began to realize that something was there to protect and defend me when all lights were gone. It was then that my eyesight began to worsen during the day and all of my other senses began to grow and allow me to view the night differently. I find that I can see better at night than during the day and that I am nocturnal, loving the darkness of night more than the light of day. I am very protective of my family and I am not unwilling to fight for my rights and theirs if I need to do so. I have always been a loner, and I know that I have made friends with others who also have kept to themselves, and that those friendships have lasted lifetimes as well. I am very spiritual, and I realized this when I learned to relax my mind and meditate, I can communicate with others who I have never known before, and when I learned to meditate was when I first met Tsala and Tahasaru.
A little about the cheetah totem; The cheetah is a go-go-go character, they know to rest when they are tired, and then they wake up and get things done. They tend to be stubborn, and they have an affinity to light and fire. They are swift and they think swiftly as well, tending to be able to find ways of solving certain equations or problems in new ways in a short amount of time.
My connections; I may not love the daylight, but I love fire, the way it moves, it’s flickering light and constant heat makes me lose myself inside of it. Many would say that I am a pyromaniac, but I don’t see it as such, I see myself concentrating on the inner parts of my mind and the fiery emotions that I hold. I am very stubborn, tending not to do things that I don’t want to do. I am swift in body and in mind, allowing myself to win short distance races, and solve problems in different ways faster than other people. But I am also swift in anger, one of the downsides to having a spirit animal with the affinity to fire.
I have carried out quite a few conversations with Tsala and Tahasaru now and they can tell that I accept them completely, and so I can see them clearly even when I’m not meditating now. They are literally right beside me in spirit as well as within my mind. They do not call me by my real name of Megan, but by the name given to me by them of Little Tsaharu. They do this because in my dreams I do shapeshift to join them. I can only change into one creature and that is a sort of a mixture between a cheetah and a panther. My coat is black, my legs long, my eyes narrow and a mix of gray/blue/green/brown, my head is angular and my tail is long. My legs and shoulders are muscled along with my jaws, and all in all I look quite awkward, ^^; but it feels right.
I haven’t gotten too far into my relationship with them, but Tsala is telling me to shut up with her rough but motherly voice, and Tahasaru is telling her to leave me be in his soft and sweet undertones.
Oh! But he also wants me to tell you why I have two instead of just having one. I had a very high chance of being a triplet instead of a twin when I was conceived and the third didn’t fully separate, along with the fact that I was almost a boy instead of a girl, ^^;
Anyhow, that’s my meeting of Tsala and Tahasaru. I don’t truly know why their names are as such, or why I’m Little Tsaharu, but that’s what they told me. Their descriptions were that Tsala was the name of the darkest night and that Tahasaru was the name of the sweetest flame warming the coldest heart. ^^ So I believe my name is that it is flame that lights the darkness of one’s heart, ^^

Wow! What a story. That is an amazing experience you have shared with us here at Timberwolf HQ. I feel that you have intuitively hit upon the correct meaning of your spirit name as well.

It’s been awhile but I was extremely confused. Resently my cat got hit by a car and I was very depressed about it and since my parents refused to talk about it I went and I contacted Farrow. Turns out that Trixie, my cat who got hit, was actually in the spirit world. Even though it seemed like I had felt my cat and that she was actually there I’m still confused about it. Farrow told me that Trixie couldn’t send me a sign because she was already passed on into the light. The next time I tried to contact Farrow and Trixie I was sent to a wintery landscape instead of my regular summer-time.
Farrow said it was negativity and that I only wanted to see Trixie and not her, which I could understand. My negativity explained the snow, and the fact I wanted to see Trixie I wasn’t allowed to see her. Though Farrow did say that Trixie was upset about me getting a new puppy and was thinking about running away but decided not to. Apparently Trixie wasn’t using her senses and that’s how she got hit, though it wasn’t painful because she had a severe head injury. Farrow commented on how she loved me and how I must not keep myself down on her death.
This only begs me to the question, did I actually see Trixie? Or is Farrow just lying about it to make me feel better? I’ve tried to do my research on if it was real or not but some people say it is, and others say it can’t be. I’m confused, and since I’m still negative over Trixie’s death I can’t get a good contact with Farrow.

Welcome back. Abby, I’m sorry to hear about Trixie’s accident. Farrow is quite right though, you must come to terms with her parting as this is only holding her back. At a time that is appropriate for you both, she will come back into your life in one form or another. Release your grief and let Farrow’s comment of Trixie passing to the light as comfort that she has fulfilled her role in your life at this moment. Feel well and let love and light cover you.

I have heard about your teachings and I have come to you for help. I know my guardian is the wolf, but I have no clue what it looks like or what its name is. I need help seeing it more clearly. I love wolves and do anything in my power to help them. I honor them greatly in everything.
However, how do you get your spirit name, like “StandingRock” or “WolfTail?” I really want to find out my name. My friends call me a wolf because I am the only girl in a group of boys and I take the highest position of guiding them. I am sorry it has taken some time to respond to you. Thank you for the wonderful comment you have provided. I am merely a humble person hoping to help others by posting what information I find that is interesting and has meaning for everyone.
As to your question about your spirit name, in my readings and research I find it is best to first make contact with your spirit guides. Once you have found your spirit guide and spent time getting to know them, you may then ask them to give you your spirit name. This seems to be the process most people have followed. Perhaps other readers here could provide there own experiences as well.

I am puzzled. I have seen the white wolf twice. I am not Native American. Both times I was on my way home from work (in the city) and saw her just as I was approaching my home. The first time was in the winter and there was a very cold frost that night. She came in front of my car with ice crystals glistening on her coat and sniffed the street, then looked up at me with headlights on her and I could see every detail. She then continued to cross the street and was gone. The second time was same as the first. Only I stopped my car this time to see a large red dog cross in front of me and then there was the white wolf. This night was in June and very hot here in Texas. She again stood in front of my car and sniffed the street and looked at me with her strange beautiful eyes, then continued to cross the street. First time she came from left to right and 2nd time she came from rt. to left. I respectfully ask if anyone can tell me what this means, please. Thank you for listening.

My feeling about your encounters is this: Your wolf has crossed your path twice indicating it is trying to get your attention. By sniffing the air it is directing your attention to something that you cannot physically see, though it is there. An indication that you may be heading in the wrong direction and to be aware of trouble in the wind. She wants you to consider a change of direction and she is not concerned about a left or right turn in your life, only that you reconsider going straight on with things. Perhaps there is a situation in your life that requires some serious consideration and a decision to make a change.

Hi Timberwolf, I’m Mike and a live in Mexico. I love this site, and reading all that people stories, make me wonder if I got a spirit wolf. My last name is Recio, and our family shield is suposed to be 3 wolves, and the wolves are my favorite animal ever. I found it mystic.
Reading all storys about how all these guys meet their spirit wolf, and even have a name for it, it realy sound crazy. At this time I feel like a need someone that help me with all my personal problems. Hello again, I am very glad to see more people starting to read all these amazing articles.
However,I must say my problem didn’t quite fix,as hard as I tried to fix it. In one moment I was there,ready to speak and then in the other it was all gone,like a usual daydream. I am frightened that I have lost my connection with Kajak or that she has left me for good. Do your spirit guides ever leave you alone?

From time to time you may experience what might appear to be a lost connection with your spirit guide. This can have a lot to do with your state of mind and your health. I hope you have not been under a lot of stress lately, as this can affect the way in which you and Kajak interact.
As for whether or not your spirit guides leave you now and then, I have been told that we do not retain the same guides for our entire life. Once we have taken in the information and lessons our guides have come to pass on to us, they may take the decision to move on and allow other guides to come to you. In that case, we will all have multiple guides throughout our lives.
My friend Pamela Nine, has had a red-tailed hawk as a guide for most of her life. From this connection, I take it that our guides may choose to remain in contact with us.
Nicole, please seek calmness and tranquility, ensure you are well rested and not concerned with any other pressures. In this way you will give yourself the best possible chance of once again connecting with Kajak.

I felt like stopping by and sharing what happened to me. As you advised me, I relaxed, I was calm and ready to try again. How ever, before I start I must say that this particular thing happened on my birthday. Now I won’t tell which one (ladies don’t like to talk about their age) but it was a “turning” in young lady’s life. Now, back to the story: I tried once again, and I sort of did succeed. I came to the spot where I usually meet Kajak, but, instead of seeing the gray she-wolf I’m used to seeing, I saw a big brownish owl with yellow eyes. Later when I searched the web I found out that it was a “Great Horned Owl”. She did not say a word, she just nodded at me (it actually looked more like a bow) and I was in my room again, before I could say a thing to her.
I have been very curious because of her appearance so I decided to stop by this site and ask an expert what did the owl’s appearance mean and weather Kajak is coming back.

To answer your question, it is not uncommon for people to have more than one spirit animal or guide during their life. Each comes into our life to assist us through a particular phase or with a lesson. Kajak may have been the guide who showed you that it is possible to contact your spirit animal and now feels that her role in your life is complete. This may be a little upsetting, however, our spirit guides are always with us and Kajak may choose to contact you again in the future should you have need of her. Do not be sad as you now have another powerful spirit animal, a “Great Horned Owl”. According to the information at Life Paths the great horned owl is an ‘extractor of secrets’ and assists with the ‘quest within’.
This is wonderful as it shows that you are on the right path.

I went to the site “Life Paths” and noticed that Great Horned Owl is a sister to Red-Tailed Hawk which is really a funny coincidence, since I remember You mentioning that your friend Pamela Nine had a Red-Tailed Hawk as her spirit guide for most of her life. Hi, my name is votie, I found my spirit animal about 4-5 years ago. My dad’s side is part Native American Indian, not sure which though. My Great aunt or aunt has alot of indian in her. I came into her room and for the first time she saw me she knew my animal guide was a wolf. From that day i’ve always seen a female wolf. Following me, whenever I need help she always there for me, wether it be school, family, or physical issues, I have a short right leg. That aunt gave me a wolf dreamcatcher. My mom dropped it and broke it, thankfully, the wolf statue was fine. I had a guinea pig named Cutie Pie for awhile after that. Then came a time i saw her. I was asleep until I heard a crash, LOUD crash. I woke up and saw Cutie Pie’s cage tipped over, One of cats tipped it over, I saw the wolf next to the cage, licking cutie pie. We took him to the vet, she said he almost died of a heart attack. She was with me in the vet’s office, so i asked her if she saved cutie pie, she nodded. I felt a strange sense of understanding when she barked. She had said, I Did It To Save Our Pack. I’ve always seen her, and even now she’s watching me write this. I’ve asked what she wants to be called and said whatever you want. I call her WhiteFang, after a T.V series. I’ll update when more stuff happens.
Here’s another intresting thing . I asked WhiteFang about when I was little because I was born 3 months premature.The doctors said their was pretty much no hope, that I was dead. Just now i looked at WhiteFang and she said “Just call me your gaurdian angel.”

It’s always been that way, at least when I’m around one of my true friends, the only one is my friend Josh, or if I’m alone. I sometimes talk to her telepathically, if i’m in a crowded area. But the thing I think is, i have told no one else this but, when i was a baby i was 3 months premature, the doctors said i was going to die. On what i’m guessing to be my last day, i looked over and, after pondering the shape as I got older, had seen, a beautiful, brownish- gray wolf lying next to me. She barked and, I somehow understood what she said, Call me your gaurdian angel, little one. I don’t get how I knew what she said, but somehow I did. I did a deep meditation exercise a few moments ago that helped me see my spirit animal and I was surprised to see the brownish gray wolf and this name popped into my head, Kyrista, I think that’s her name. The shocking thing was I also saw a red fox and the name Blackstripe popped up. I think both of them are my spirit guides.

I have had dreams. Not regular once in a lifetime random shot of the neuro network dreams, i mean visions, awakenings if you will. It is through these dreams that figured out that I am a wolf. My question is this, Are there others like me, other wolves, and how can i find them. I only ask because recently i have had another “vision”. There was a pack of wolves, they were calling me, wishing me back, should i take this as it is, or just pass it off as a dream, or should i seek them?

I’m not sure if you remember me or not, but it had to do with finding my animal spirit. I just found out that my parents are divorcing and that my mom bought a house in Seattle. On a trip with my aunt, little cousin, and mom to Washington, I went into a locally owned Native American shop, owned by this very nice lady. She noticed a sad look on my face, and I explained to her the divorce. She gave me a card that had a grayish-brownish wolf on it with piercing amber eyes, saying, “Maybe the wolf’s spirit can guide you through this.” I was enthralled.
Ten minutes later, my family was walking downtown, when my mom screamed to me. I turned around, and noticed a old man walking the biggest wolf I had ever seen. It was gray and brown, with piercing amber eyes that could look into your soul. He went up to my hip, and I’m 5’9 (he was HUGE!) Apparently his name was Jasper, and he wouldn’t let my mom nor my aunt pet him (he backed away from their hands). Then, my little cousin charged after him and pulled his back fur! He gave a low growl that told my cousin to back off.
What I did was kneel until my eyes were looking at his, and I slowly reached out my hand to him. Jasper took two steps forward, and, cautiously sniffing my hand, he looked up at me one last time, took another step forward and bowed his head. I pet him gently. My mom almost fainted.
After we parted I looked at the card the store lady gave me again, and realized it looked exactly like Jasper! Since then, I always felt the presence of Jasper by me, sometimes even talking to me. I believe I had a real-life contact with my animal spirit. Turns out even my Native American zodiac falls under the sign of the wolf!

Hello Timber Wolf. It’s been a few months since i last spoke to you about Aniu. Everything is going great. She helped me see some horrible situations and overcome some tough decisions. Without her enthusiasm and help I would not have graduated from high school this year. She has been a true blessing and I am extremely lucky to have her walk by my side.
But, I do have a question: can a person have a spiritual guide as well as a physical guide?
My two dogs Simba (a BullMastiff) and Thumper (a mixed mut) have become a lot closer to me since i found Aniu. Both of them follow me everywhere I go and sleep next to me. Thumper stays at my grandma’s house and Simba lives here at home with my parents and me.
Simba won’t follow anyone else but me, and Thumper won’t sleep with anyone but me.
Can you please tell me what this means?

I have to say, out of all the times for Aniu to be by my side, i have never been as grateful as now. My parents are going through rough times. My dad is acting crazy and mentally abusing my mom. She went out last night and came home this morning. My dad went insane.
I have had a bad feeling for a few days now, and i believe it is Aniu trying to warn me of upcomming events such as this.
My dad is comming home from work in a few hours and the fear going through us is unreal.
I believe Aniu is warning me of the worst.
I know she will be by my side through everything, I can feel her caring safety in me.

It appears to have many different meanings. In New-Greek kyrist can be taken to mean…”not only “Christian” but also “Jesus Christ” and “man, human being” In Rumanian, Bulgarian, Russian, Albanian it has a similar meaning. (Source: ROMANIAN CONTINUITY IN ROMAN DACIA LINGUISTIC EVIDENCE)
‘Kurista‘ is a Finnish word that means “Rumble”. It has a number of variant mis-spellings which include ‘Kyrista’. (Source: TellSpell)
It may also be a variant of the name “Krysta” meaning “anointed one, Christian; or anointed, Christian”. (Source: Think Baby Names)
While this is not much assistance for the meaning of the name of your spirit guide “Kyrista” it may assist you to give a meaning of your own to the name.

hey guys. i did yet another meditation excersise that brought me to snowy mountains. in front of me was a male snow leopard, lying in a postion as if it were sleeping. we talked for awhile. throughout my life i have known to get mad over the dumbest things. The snow leopard, who’s name I figured out is kind of strange. It’s spelled Zyato. He said he would to teach me how to overcome my anger and would be there for all the hardships, until the end. He had piercing blue eyes that went through my soul. I see him only in a meditative state, which i sometimes adopt during boring school hours. I’ll see if i can get him to appear out of my head.vIt’s weird, Kyrista i can see in a physical form, yet no one else can, so i call her my personal ghost. I haven’t seen Blackstripe in awhile, but i always feel his prescence. C ya guys!

hey timberwolf, i went to school today thinking about Zyato. For some reason when i walk by people he’ll start growling and hissing in my head. What is that all about? there people i don’t even know, and stranger still it feels like something inside of the person responded to the growl! that’s the way it felt at least. HELP Timberwolf!

The way I see it, Zyato is either greeting fellow leopard spirit guides who are responding or he is warning you that those people are on a different path, one you should not consider.
Personally, I feel that he is acknowledging other spirit guides.

after attending a four days’ shamanic convergence , here , in Nova Scotia, Canada, where i witnessed magic, miracles and more…i went to my nondenominational church (Angel Hall). Rev. hey timberwolf, thanks for responding to my messages! i was starting to wonder where you went! I did the meditation that was posted on here and something really strange happened. I went through the tunnel and went to the stone chairs, i sat down and relaxed and looked at the ground to see a huge shadow! I looked up and saw a black dragon with purple on it’s belly. He told me his name was Syren(pronounced siren), he was really majestic and beatiful. Kyrista and Akosta and the rest came to greet him, I have another question, can spirit guides get jealous if you spend too much time with one and not enough with another? was does a dragon spirit guide mean, if there is such a thing?

The nature of having a spirit guide is that they will teach you or guide you through lessons in life. They do not get jealous of each other as they know that each of them has a purpose and therefore enjoy their time with you and each other.

I tried again.
You know, got into a medititive state.
I saw Ashe again – and he spoke to me.
Like, more than just last time, where he told me his name and just walked off.
I think he was bringing a message from my mother, who died three years ago due to mental problems and suicide.
He said he would help me escape her fate (I don’t have mental issues, but I think Ashe wants to help me prevent this, as it’s a chronic issue in the females of my family).
Should I trust him?
I know it sounds stupid, but I feel unsure because of what my mother did. I know Ashe is here to help me, but what I do?

I think Syren was just a bout of my imagination, and I asked him if he was my spirit animal and he said no. I watched my dog, Oreo, kill a snake. I LUV SNAKES! i’m not sure if it was dead or not, it might of been playing dead, i wanted to pick him up and help him, but something kept me from it, probably my fear. The only fear I have is picking up dead animals. When i was meditating, i saw him there. He said he had chosen to be m y spirit guide, Blackstripe left, but visits me every now and then.

hey guys, something totally amazing, yet sad happened. i got off the bus like i always do, and i looked over to the left side of our lawn, i saw a fox run across it! I thought about Blackstripe and called out his name and the fox turned. I knelt down and put my hand out. The fox came over and let me pet his head,looking happy. I looked into his eyes and a feeling came over me, goodbye is what i heard and the fox ran off, what does this mean?

This may be sad, however it does not mean that you will not be able to contact him again at some point in the future. For now he may feel that Kyrista, Zyato and Syren have more to assist you with. Be patient and follow your heart. Things will work out as they are meant to.

You sound like you’re having a wonderful time in your life at the moment. As for Oreo, it is a domestic dogs instinct to nurture and protect. She has always accepted you as part of her pack. The licking is a nurturing instinct to make sure you are clean and safe.
