Opening yourself up to the idea is hard, but there are alot of people who have no clue, but want to take some path, they just don't know which one. Until they do, they may be lost. It's not JUST the wolf spirit----everyone has to find their own teacher. It's amazing when you do, though, your life and your mind becomes clearer. Whether or not you believe in the spirits is one thing. I have been guided since my childhood by a greater power. I have not always followed the path set before me. I have seen my deceased Cherokee ancestors I have had visions and memories throughout my life. As a young woman it use to frighten me, but I have come to terms with them. I have felt that something or someone is trying to get my attention even moreso now. I am now in my 50's and have been expierencing extreme presence of a spirit. I also think that after all these years I have met someone from another life and time that reaches my soul, but nothing can come of it right now. Why I am finally searching for answers is a week ago I had a dream of a massive she wolf and her pack. She had three pups romping around her. She was huge, grey with the most intense eyes I have ever seen. I was with someone, but cannot put a name them. I just know we were together. The she wolf looked directly into my eyes and reached deep into my soul. I was not affraid just startled. I awoke abruptly catching my breath. this has been preying on me all week. Last nigh I had another dream. I was at a gathering in a tent (current day) there was a group of people (native americans). I have never expierenced, what do they call it a sweat or something like that, and I am assuming that this is what was happening. Anyway, during the ceremony the same huge she wolf appeared, walked up to me, put her mussel against my had and then my face and looked straight into my eyes. I stood up. She then accross the ground to someone, did the same thing and he too stood up. To my surprise she then went to someone else. When this person stood I realized it was my 17 year old grandson. Getting to that...he is very spiritual and is searching for our ancestry. The shewolf turned and walked toward the opening turning to summon us to follow. We did. I woke with such a sadness and yet with the excitement that a new beginning is waiting. I know this is lenghty, but after reading some of the other people's expierences on your page I thought why not share with you and them. If you have any input I surely would apprecciate it. Oh, by the way, my Cherokee surname is Choo-lo-kil-leh. Still searching for geneoloy, but I do know this is true. My greatgrandmother was buried under her Cherokee name. Hello Timberwolf. And the black wolf attacking you tells me that you are headed down the wrong path, that 'attack' was an attempt to turn you away from you current direction and return you to the pack where you can be protected. Wolves mate for life and it can sometimes cause you heartache to understand that humans do not necessarily follow this same urge. You need to examine your feelings and determine if it is desire or something deeper that keeps calling you to this girl. When you understand what it is that binds you to her, you can then set about repairing your own heart and moving on if that should be the case. Timberwolf Namaste Jarret
