A mother's love

This post is a link to a sister site, Tranquility HQ. In their category, ‘Fun and Inspirational’ category, is a dedication to one of the most important people in our lives.

A mother’s love should never be taken for granted and yet as we get older and develop as human beings, get married, have a family, the one person who we seem to not have as much time for is our mother. Without her, we would not have had the opportunity to become the people that we are today.

While this post is dedicated to a mother, we must remember that a father is just as important and should not be forgotten. Once you have read the dedication, please leave a comment telling us what you think. I would love you to return here and leave a comment against this post as well.

You can visit Tranquility HQ by clicking on the link below.

I believe everyone who reads it will be moved by the words found there.

Hi Holly Jo

Thank you for letting me know. It was a while since I posted this article and we have since decommissioned that site. The link has been changed to another sister site: Tranquility HQ

Thanks again

Timberwolf,

I finally had the time to sit at the computer and read this. I absolutely love it and cried like a big baby. I lost my mother on 2/14/10. That was the hardest thing I have ever gone through in my life! Ever since I was a very little girl I remember telling my mom that I would be with her when she took her last breath, as she was with me when I took my first breath. And as I told her so many years before, I was there with her the day she passed away. I not only lost my mother that day, but I also lost the best friend that I could have ever asked for. She is with me daily, although some days I don’t always notice the signs, but I know she is there. My Grandson has seen her on a couple of occassions and I feel her all the time. I remember a mothers day that I took her out for lunch and to a play in the same building where many, many years before she was one of the actresses in a play there when they first opened. This reminded me so much of that day and how much I will always treasure that day and many others. Thank you so much for this lovely and heart touching story!

Namaste Holly Jo

Thank you for returning to visit at Timberwolf HQ. As with you I was with my mother when she drew her last breath and I too feel the loss even though it was such a long time ago now (5 June 07 at 8pm).

I know that she is with me now more than ever and continuously marvel at the ways in which she communicates that presence. Words come out of my mouth and I think, thT’s my mother talking. I’m sure you know what I mean.

Thank you again for your visit and your comment.
